Thank you so, so much, seriously. <3 It was definitely tough for my family and I - and after seeing my extended family I definitely needed a drink, too, because I was exhausted!
joellesolo asked: I just wanted to say that I'm so so so sorry for your loss; the same thing happened to my own grandfather in March, and it sucks, and just... I hope you're doing okay, and it's TOTALLY understandable that you haven't been posting, and you are a wonderful person and just fantastic, and... Yeah. Thank you for having this blog, and I hope you are doing alright :)
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather! It’s really, really tough to lose a relative that way. The hardest part for me was watching my grandmother because they were married for 59 years - her emotional devastation was just so awful and I knew there was nothing I could do but hug her and be there with her.
You’re very welcome for having this blog, by the way! <3 I have a lot of fun with it, and I’m so genuinely surprised that people actually like it and whatnot. (Thank you so, so much for this!<3)
What were the name and colors of Wes Janson’s astromech? Was he an R2 or R5?I don’t believe I ever specified. My suspicion is that he’d have an R2 rather than an R5, and he’d probably have it repainted as often as resources and the tolerence of his support personnel would permit. It would not, for example, be out of character for him to paint it in orange, white, and black, in penguinish mockery of the standard pilot’s flight suit. As for a name, something simultaneously practical and goofy, like Knob, would be in character.
